The400 gets between 60 and 65 MPG and the 650 gets 50 if you are lucky and most of the time mid 40's. Mine is a 2012 which is the last year of the original design but Suzuki tweaked it slightly starting in 2013 and these newer ones got a little better fuel economy I think. I have never ridden a 2013+ Burgman 650.
Hereare a few thinigs I did notice between my Burgie and the Reflex: The Relex's seat is not adjustable and feels light and fragile when you lift it up. The Burgman has much more storage space underneath the seat. The 250 Reflex has great acceleration and I could hardly tell the difference between the Burgie 400 and the Reflex's acceleration!

Ilove twist n go scooters and I'm going to have one of the big ones. Of the ones I've ridden the 400 Burgman has my vote right now. It ran strong throught the mountains and all the twists and turns. Never felt underpowered even against the V-Stroms and Gladius. I will ride the Yamaha 400 Majesty and the Honda Silverwing before I decide.
